| EbGCA is the first master planned community in the Ewa plain. It is built on land that until the late 1970's was used for sugar cane production and plantation housing. Occupancy began in 1988 and there are now over 8,000 homes and multiple amenities. Ewa by Gentry is a 1,400-acre master planned community. the community will consist of nearly 8,500 homes at build out, which is expected by the end of 2024. The association includes a mix of single family and multifamily subdivisions ranging from entry level starter homes to upscale, golf course view homes. Ewa by Gentry boasts three large community parks, several smaller pocket parks, two community centers, miles of walking paths and a community pool.

Ho'opili borders Ewa Beach and Kapolei. The first homes were sold in 2016 and occupancy started in 2017. The community is approximately 25% completed with 3,000 homes; an additional 9,000 homes are anticipated including a combination of single and multi family homes over an area of 1600 acres. Ho'opili will eventually replace Ewa by Gentry as the second largest planned community on Oahu. It is the first community built around the rail system and the closest to University of Hawaii West Oahu. There is already one very active community center, several partnerships with nearby resources and multiple additional areas in the works. The vision includes an outdoor workout space, a community garden and a basketball and pickleball park. - Festival Street for farmers markets and block parties
