Statistics, News, Issues Papers Online For Condo/Homeowners Association Industry

1/26/1998  -  Alexandria, VA

Journalists can now access the latest facts, news and public affairs issues in the condominium, cooperative and community association industry on the World Wide Web. The Community Associations Institute today launched the CAI NewsRoom on its Web site at caionline.org to provide the media with statistics and general information on this rapidly growing industry and the 40 million Americans who live in community associations.

Visitors will find press releases on CAI news, events and publications; a comprehensive list of legislative and regulatory issues affecting community associations and CAI's public policy position statements; detailed information on CAI books, guides and periodicals including a keyword search feature; and links to CAI's 58 chapters in the U.S. Journalists can also access the CAI Education and Conference Center and the Web site of the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers.

The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 150,000 community associations—condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and the professionals who provide products and services to them.
