COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS INSTITUTE (CAI) SOUTH AFRICA CHAPTER EXAMINES THE FUTURE OF THE ESTATE AND SECTIONAL TITLE MARKET

New research evaluates the increased demand for housing and challenges facing today's homebuyers 

April 7, 2017 — Washington, DC, U.S.A. — Community Associations Institute (CAI), the leading authority in community association governance, education, and management is proud to announce the launch of Community Next: 2020 and Beyond South Africa, a comprehensive research study exploring the future of community association living.

With a population of 55 million, housing in South Africa is expected to increase during the next decade serving multiple generations and ethnicities. Community Next: 2020 and Beyond South Africa is a look forward examining the continued growth of condominiums, townhomes and single family units throughout the country. CAI South Africa and CAI will work collaboratively with industry thought-leaders to envision the future. 

CAI South Africa is the first international chapter of the U.S. based Community Associations Institute (CAI) joined recently by the CAI Canada Chapter and the CAI Middle East Chapter. 

For more than forty years, CAI has offered education and guidance for community association homeowners, volunteer board members, managers and businesses serving these communities. Through CAI South Africa, the local business community, government, university students, and others benefit from world renowned best practices, standards, and access to resources and training, including CAI's comprehensive professional education and credentialing programs.

To date, three managers in South Africa have earned CAI's prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation, a professional recognition that takes years to complete. Utilizing CAI's industry knowledge, experience and technology, professional managers complete seven courses, a peer-reviewed thesis and compliance with strict code of professional standards and ethics.

• Johan Krueger, PCAM
• Denise Sharp, PCAM
