Community Associations Institute's mission to serve the professionals and volunteers who sustain community associations will be bolstered in 2006 with a national Board of Trustees that includes a blend of well-known industry veterans and new leaders on the national scene. 

Ross W. Feinberg, Esq., of Feinberg Grant Mayfield Kaneda & Litt, LLP, Newport Beach, CA, is CAI's 2006 president, while Ronald L. Perl, Esq., Hill Wallack, Attorneys At Law, in Princeton, NJ, is president-elect.

Feinberg, Perl and the following eight leaders are returning to the 14-member board:

Under CAI's new governance structure, the Board of Trustees is led by a president and president-elect who are elected by the board members. Four at-large members are appointed by a board-selected Nominating Committee and eight members are appointed by CAI's three membership representation groups: the Association of Professional Community Managers Board (four representatives), the Community Association Volunteers Committee (2) and the Business Partners Council (2).

"I'm excited to be working with such an excellent group of leaders," said CAI Chief Executive Officer Thomas M. Skiba. "By serving in this important capacity, these members are demonstrating a personal commitment not only to CAI, but also to the professionals and volunteers who serve this growing segment of the U.S. housing market. Board members are elected to two-year terms and can serve a maximum of three terms.

CAI is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives. Along with its more than 50 regional, state and local chapters, CAI represents professional community managers, community association volunteer leaders (homeowners) and businesses and professionals who serve these communities.
