The Community Associations Institute (CAI) is heading to Music City for its 49th National Conference, to be held Oct. 26-28 at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Don't miss out on the premiere opportunity to learn what's on the horizon and update your skills to lead and manage future communities.
The CAI Fall Conference is an opportunity for community association managers, professionals and homeowners to gather and share ideas, as well as attend cutting-edge education sessions. Topics this year will include a spotlight on the winners of the National Community Association of the Year Award, special programming targeted to large-scale community managers and management company CEOs, and the most pressing legal issues of the day. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to relax and network with your peers, and to find out how they are fostering vibrant, harmonious communities with responsible leadership.
CAI has lined up two dynamic keynote speakers for it's opening and closing sessions in Nashville. Coming off two highly rated education programs at the Spring CAI conference in Anaheim, Jeff Cufaude, of Like Minded People in Indianapolis, Indiana, will open up the conference with an interactive journey through our possible futures, using the present as a prologue to the many possibilities that await us. Generational differences, technology, strategy development, organizational structure, dues and services, member needs, and much more will be touched on in this fast-paced journey through time. To close out the conference, Nicki Joy, a speaker with extensive experience in the real estate and building industries from Derwood, Maryland, will provide insight as to what traits and strategies we need to use to be winners ourselves, and to lead winning communities.
In addition, CAI has added a fun new twist to its Fall Conference this year. A golf tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Pine Creek Golf Course, in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Located just 20 minutes from the Opryland Hotel, Pine Creek is a course for both the beginning and advanced golfer. This is a great opportunity to network with your peers, as well as benefit a good cause—the proceeds from the tournament will go to CAI's Issues Advancement Fund.
