Erin Fuller was recently named Executive Director of the Community Associations Institute Research Foundation. In this newly created position, Fuller will oversee all Foundation activities, including coordinating and securing funding for research projects, creating a community association performance index and launching a summit to study future trends in common interest development.
"Ms. Fuller's extensive experience in program development and consulting will be invaluable to the Foundation at this critical moment in CAI's growth," said Barbara A. Byrd, executive vice president of CAI. "The CAI Research Foundation is poised to become the preeminent source for quality research and publications on the nation's 205,000 community associations and the 42 million Americans who live in them."
Prior to joining CAI, Fuller was a project management specialist with Andersen Consulting, Washington, D.C. Previously, she was a program development/management consultant to the Latino Council on Alcohol and Tobacco and the C. Everett Koop Institute at Dartmouth University. Fuller is a former program director with the American Medical Student Association Foundation and fundraiser/special event planner for non-profits with the consulting firm Lansdale Associates, Washington, D.C.
Fuller earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in Public Administration from American University, Washington, D.C. The Community Associations Institute Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, was founded in 1975 to serve as the catalyst for positive change in the community association industry. The Foundation promotes community association research, development and scholarship by illuminating future trends and opportunities, supporting and conducting research and mobilizing resources.
The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 205,000 community associations—condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and related professionals and service providers.
