Aug. 4, 2022 — Falls Church, Va. — The Foundation for Community Association Research is proud to announce the members of the 2022-2023 Board of Directors, effective July 1. The board consists of 16 dedicated volunteers who give their time and expertise to making the Foundation a leader in community association research.
Six members represent the board's executive committee. Adrian J. Adams, Esq. founder and managing partner at Adams Stirling Professional Law Corporation in Los Angeles, serves as president. Michelle Baldry, RS, a northeast regional executive director at Reserve Advisors in Arlington, Va., will serve as president-elect. Pamela D. Bailey, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, of Austin, Texas serves as treasurer, and Mark Jones, AMS, PCAM, chief executive officer of Avalon Management Group in Canyon Lake, Calif., will serve as board secretary. Peter Santangelo, CMCA, president of Community Advantage, a Wintrust Company in Palatine, Ill., is the immediate past president. Dawn M. Bauman, CAE, serves as the Foundation's executive director.
The Foundation Board of Directors welcomes four new members: Susan Hawks McClintic, Esq. a managing shareholder, president/chief executive officer, and transactional department chair at Epsten law firm in San Diego; Henry Puckett, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, a community association manager resource team leader at Ghertner & Company in Nashville, Tenn., and A.J. Scott, CIRMS, an insurance professional at Community Partners Insurance Agency in Meridian, Idaho; and Marc Tamres, founder and chief executive officer at HomeRun IQ in San Francisco.
Established in 1975, the Foundation is the leading research affiliate of Community Associations Institute (CAI), supporting community association stakeholders to address specific challenges and prepare for emerging issues. The Foundation publishes best practices reports on critical topics including governance, finance, and strategic planning, provides research scholarships for graduate students, and provides historical research and data on common interest communities found in The Community Association Fact Book and biennial Homeowner Satisfaction Survey.
