The 24th Annual Community Association Law Seminar, sponsored by Community Associations Institute (CAI), will take place from January 31–February 1, 2003, at The InterContinental Hotel in New Orleans, LA.
The Law Seminar is developed by CAI's College of Community Association Lawyers as part of its commitment to advancing the knowledge and practice of community association law. This two-day forum explores future trends and practices of law in homeowner and condominium associations, and cooperatives. Attendees will receive practical preparation enabling them to deal with the most pressing issues facing condominiums and homeowner associations today, and discuss what lies ahead in the practice of association law and for the community association industry.
Attendees will hear expert advice and learn about the latest developments on topics including case law, common interest housing in the communities of tomorrow, perspectives from counsel on owner vs. association lawsuits, legal and practical considerations of harassment of board members and managers, association regulations vs. owner rights inside the home, and much more. The distinguished faculty is comprised of attorneys and other industry experts from across the country.
Cost for the full law seminar is $525 for CAI members and $560 for non-members. Attendees who register by December 29, 2002, will save $30.
