Established by Community Associations Institute (CAI), CCAL membership consists of attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the field of community association law. In recognition of his contributions to community association law, Gurdon H. Buck, Esq., of Robinson & Cole, LLP, Hartford, CT, was presented with an honorary CCAL membership during CAI's National Conference and Exposition in Atlanta.

CCAL provides a forum for the exchange of information among experienced legal professionals dedicated to the advancement of community association law. Its goals include promoting high standards of professional and ethical responsibility, improving and advancing the practice of community association law, and facilitating the development of educational materials and programming pertaining to legal issues.

CCAL is headed by David S. Mercer, Esq., of Troutman Sanders, LLP, McLean, VA, who serves as dean of the six-member Board of Governors.

CAI is dedicated to making our members successful and helping community associations meet the expectations of their residents.
