The Community Associations Institute (CAI) Research Foundation recently published the Community Association Manager Compensation and Salary Survey—an in-depth follow-up to the Foundation's 1995 survey.
A powerful benchmarking tool for community associations and management companies alike, the survey compares the salary and benefit information of community association managers (including large-scale managers) on a national scale as well as by geographic region. Additional information about onsite workers as well as information regarding salaries based on professional designations is included.
The statistically valid survey revealed many interesting facts - including that nearly 71 percent of managers report that their company provides full reimbursement for advanced training and education and that managers holding the PCAM designation earn an average of $22,140 more than community managers without designations.
