The Community Associations Institute has named James B. Evans director, Finance and Administration. He will be responsible for managing CAI's financial and budget operations; administering employee benefit plans and other headquarter's administration functions.
Previously, Evans was the director of Finance and Administration for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). Prior to working at AUPHA, Evans spent 14 years with the American Pharmaceutical Association.
Evans earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from The George Washington University and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives.
The Community Associations Institute is a nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent the nation's 150,000 community associations—condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives. CAI members include homeowners, associations and the professionals who provide products and services to them.
