"Be Reasonable: How Community Associations can Enforce Rules Without Antagonizing Residents, Going to Court or Starting World War III" netted the Community Associations Institute a certificate of achievement in the Gold Circle Awards Competition from the American Society of Association Executives in the category of one-time publications.

Introduced in February 1998, "Be Reasonable" has been CAI's hottest-selling new book ever for condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations.
