The Community Associations Institute (CAI) recently awarded Brent Waldrop, President of Benchmark Enterprises in Laguna Park, Texas the Educator of the Year award at the CAI's conference in Palm Springs, CA. CAI's Educator of the Year Award is given to an individual who has excelled in elevating the quality of CAI's educational programs by developing, teaching or leading a significant national course.
Brent Waldrop is a frequent instructor of national CAI courses since 1999, and he regularly teaches the M201 Facilities Management and M202 Association Communications courses, consistently receiving top evaluations from his students. Among all the faculty for CAI courses, Brent Waldrop had received the highest evaluation averages overall. Since the last award period, Brent Waldrop has taught four courses, including one in which every student taking the course evaluated him with perfect scores.
Brent Waldrop holds a BS in Civil Engineering, and both the Association Management Specialist (AMS™) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations. He received his PCAM in May 1993; and has more than 20 years experience in the community association field.
