COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS INSTITUTE (CAI) LAUNCHES 2017 EDUCATION CATALOG
Continuing education programs designed for homeowners, volunteer board members, community managers, and the business professionals serving community associations worldwide.
Feb. 16, 2017—Falls Church, VA—Community Associations Institute (CAI), a leading authority in community association governance, education, and management has unveiled its 2017 Education Catalog, designed specifically for homeowners living in a condominium, community association, or co-op, the professional community managers who lead the associations, and the businesses serving these thriving communities.
CAI has been the trusted resource for more than 40 years, providing the most comprehensive education courses in community association living. For community association managers, CAI offers four levels of courses designed to give new managers a knowledge base and experienced managers a deeper understanding of all aspects of association management. Courses focus on topics including insurance, finance, leadership, governance, and communications. CAI offers many other learning opportunities for community managers including webinars and national conferences and events
For homeowners, CAI offers the Board Leadership Development Workshop, a course that highlights the roles and responsibilities of a community association volunteer such as how to communicate with association residents, hire qualified mangers and service providers, develop enforceable rules, and interpret governing documents. The workshop is available in two formats: live, classroom instruction through CAI chapters and an online course.
CAI education helps businesses and service providers differentiate themselves in the competitive community association marketplace. Business Partner Essentials is a two-part, online course to help business professionals better understand CAI, community associations, and the industry at large. Individuals who pass the course and maintain CAI membership earn the CAI Educated Business Partner distinction, gaining special recognition among thousands of companies and professionals who support common-interest communities.
More than 150 classroom courses will be offered coast to coast this year. A full listing of CAI's 2017 in-person and online courses, webinars, and events can be found at www.caionlne.org.
