This Council represents homeowner leader and homeowner members.
Make-Up
The Homeowner Leaders Council will consist of six (6) members who are Homeowner Leader members.
Roles
Relative to the Board of Trustees
- Give input on policy matters to CAI's Board of Trustees
- Elect two members of the Homeowner Leaders Council to serve on the Board of Trustees
- Appoint one Homeowner Leader to serve on the Nominating Committee to fill open at-large positions on the Board of Trustees
- Appoint two Homeowner Leaders to serve on the Government and Public Affairs Committee
Relative to CAI Staff
- Make recommendations on Education Curriculum
- Make recommendations on Designations
- Make recommendations on Best Practices
- Provide other input and make recommendations as requested by CEO and staff
Autonomous
Identify what is of value to the Homeowner Leaders.
Terms
- Council members shall serve 2-year terms.
- In general, a Council member may not serve more than 6 years.
Election of Members
Each year, Homeowner Leader members will have the opportunity to nominate themselves for a position on the Homeowner Leaders Council. The Homeowner Leaders will then vote for members of the Council via an online election.
