College of Community Association Lawyers

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Since 1994, CAI has recognized excellence in the practice of community association law through the College of Community Association Lawyers. The approximately 200 CCAL fellows distinguish themselves by advancing community association law for the betterment of the communities they serve.​

CCAL GOALS

  • Promote high standards of professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of community association law;
  • Cooperate with all groups impacted by community association law (organizations, government agencies, and businesses) to enact effective community association governance practices; 
  • Assist in the development of community association educational materials and programming related to legal issues for use by other professionals and homeowners;
  • Advance the professional development of CCAL fellows; and
  • Implement the goals and objectives of Community Associations Institute.
